In this episode of La Voz de la Comunidad, hosted by Celina RodrÃguez, we hear about common societal prejudices toward people who are obese and the harm this can cause to a person’s mental health. This can be especially difficult for immigrants already contending with the challenges of language, culture, and racism in a new society. We’ll hear from medical experts and psychologists, as well as from those who have experienced these prejudices firsthand. (Spanish only).
